The Magician’s Stone
Labradorite is such a beautiful stone, and one that has been a part of my spiritual practice for as long as I can remember. They come in shimmering colors of blue, green, gray and reflections of gold. Its name comes from Labrador, Canada, where this stone was initially discovered in 1770. If you’ve seen Labradorite in person you won’t soon forget its mesmerizing appearance, especially when the light is reflected against its surface.
It is referred to as “The Magician’s Stone” or the “Stone of Magic,” and aptly so. For those who practice divination, as well as shaman and healers, Labradorite has always been held in the highest regard. Part of this belief stems from the magickal properties of this stone.
