You’re going to have to learn to be flexible whether you like it or not. There are a lot of times in life that we have to do things we don’t want to do. Sometimes that’s because we have certain responsibilities, we are trying to make others happy, because of societal pressures or even because we put others needs above ours. Whatever the case may be, you will be asked to practice patience and understanding. And to learn how to be of service to others. This behavior will bring you something very important that you need. Mastering these techniques is a requirement to lay a solid foundation for whatever comes next. You cannot ask others to do things for you if they are tasks you yourself are unwilling to complete. Nothing should ever be above or beneath you. And that’s an important mindset to cultivate moving forward. If you can learn the necessary lessons, new opportunities will be headed your way.

Shadow Work Questions:
  • What is something positive you can get out of a situation you’re not happy about being in?
  • How can learning how to be more flexible things serve you in the future?
  • What does being of service mean to you?

participation - osho zen tarot

May 2024 (Participation)

Sometimes it takes a village to get things done. Whatever you’re currently attempting is impossible to achieve on your own. Calling for reinforcements might be exactly what you need to push things over the edge in a positive way. This isn’t to say you haven’t been able to accomplish many wonderful and impressive things by yourself. But to reach the next level requires skills and know-how that you don’t currently possess. We are all good at different things. And when we put those skill sets together, we become a greater part of the whole. It’s important to set your excuses and arguments aside in order to create something that is very much needed. Some challenges you may face in this endeavor are learning how to release control, figuring out how seemingly different pieces or things can work together and learning that there is more than one way to get things done. Enjoy the support and camaraderie that is coming your way. Even if it means learning to step outside of your comfort zone.

Shadow Work Questions:
  • What do I dislike about working with others or as part of a team?
  • How can working on my own be limiting?
  • What skill sets do I wish I had that I could reach out to others to provide?

2 of Swords R - Light Seer's Tarot

April 2024 (2 of Swords)

You’re about to make a decision on blind faith. Even though it feels like you’re caught between two difficult scenarios. This is happening because too much information can actually cause you to walk towards the wrong experience. Even sources that usually provide helpful guidance will be unavailable to you during this time. This includes your intuition. Which is not only turned all the way off, but there’s also a chance it’s nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, the only way to figure out what to do next is to take a step forward. Within this step, more information will be revealed to help you see your path more accurately. This energy is pushing you to trust yourself and your ability to make decisions. It might not be something you’re used to. And if it is, this current situation is definitely beyond your past experience levels. Think of this as an annoying lesson from the Universe in personal growth and self-connection. But one that will ultimately put you on the right track.

Shadow Work Questions:
  • Why is it hard for me to trust myself?
  • What is the worst that will happen if I make a wrong decision?
  • How does overthinking get me in trouble?
  • How is having more information not all is a good thing?

ordinariness - osho zen tarot

March 2024 (Ordinariness)

There’s nothing wrong with being ordinary, but right now it feels like it. We all want to feel special and unique. But sometimes the ordinary things about us are exactly that. These days with common sense and manners thrown out the window, this basic energy is exactly what people need. Focus on exaggerating the simple pleasures in everyday life. Drink that cup of coffee like it’s the best one you’ve ever had. Smile at strangers to brighten someone’s day. Compliment somebody just for the heck of it. And don’t forget to stop and enjoy the flowers or birds in your path. There is so much beauty waiting for you in seemingly mundane spaces. It’s all about expressing gratitude for common everyday things. And seeing the world as you know it in a new light. Remember ordinary doesn’t mean plain or boring. Although over time this has become a more standard definition. This energy in general can be comforting and reliable. Which is something you definitely need a little more at this time.

Shadow Work Questions:
  • What do I think being special will do for me?
  • What are some ordinary things that can actually be quite beautiful?
  • How does my ego play into perception I have of myself?

6 of Wands - Light Seer's Tarot

February 2024 (6 of Wands)

You’re hoping for some recognition on a job well done. Having your efforts validated and celebrated by others helps you feel confident in your abilities. What you have recently accomplished is a big deal. So, it makes sense that you want a little credit for your effort. Some people might see this as extravagant or bragging. But that’s only because they haven’t learned how important it is to acknowledge big moments. If you’re feeling uncomfortable about all the attention that’s in your space, know that it’s well deserved and you earned every bit of it. Sometimes when the spotlight hits us, our imposter syndrome kicks in and we might feel uncomfortable being the center of attention. Either way it’s important to mark your latest accomplishment with as much fanfare as you like. Being able to remember this moment will set you up for future success. Next time you feel nervous or unprepared about a new venture, this example will prove you have everything it takes to make it happen.

Shadow Work Questions:
  • How do I feel about being the center of attention?
  • In what ways do I like to celebrate my wins?
  • What benefits do I gain from having others acknowledge my success and hard work?

clinging to the past - osho zen tarot

January 2024 (Clinging to the Past)

Congratulations my little fish! You’re finally ready to let all that baggage go. This might seem difficult at first since you’ve gotten so used to carrying it all this time. But this release will free you in more ways than you could possibly imagine. Moving things out of your life, mind, body or emotional space is imperative in order to draw new and better things towards you. You’ve been given this gift as a reward for the lessons you’ve learned from your past experiences. As well as receiving the permission from yourself to finally let things go. It might feel weird for a little bit until those empty spaces fill in, and that’s ok. Try not to go back to your old habits because it feels more comfortable than where you currently find yourself at. Transitional spaces can often feel a little bumpy. But remind yourself that you’re experiencing is only temporary. Plenty of good things are up ahead. And you can still take the memories with you, but you no longer have to carry the drama and difficult emotions they come with.

Shadow Work Questions:
  • Why is it hard for me to walk away from situations I know are bad for me?
  • What are three red flags to look for that will help me identify people or situations I should avoid?
  • What important lessons have I learned from this experience?
