Learn to Read the Tarot! Getting your tarot cards read can be fun and insightful. It’s like being able to see the road-map of your life in order to get the guidance and answers you need. Many people would love to be able to read their own cards but it can be a little daunting once you realize the deck has 78 cards that are read a variety of ways. This intensive 6 week class will cover a basic working knowledge of the tarot cards, several different spreads and instructions on how to interpret the cards for the most effective readings. Each week will feature a different suit of cards (Wands, Swords, Pentacles, Cups & Major Arcana). Build your knowledge and learn to master the tarot in a valuable way.
The first time I ever got a tarot reading it was at a metaphysical bookstore in town. It quite literally was the worst reading I have ever had. I left crying and feeling pretty discouraged about my life. As I was walking out of the shop I ran into another tarot reader who showed me what a real reading is supposed to be like. I didn’t love everything the cards said, but I left knowing what I needed to work on in order to get things to change. I felt empowered and inspired. This is the feeling I want to pass on to my clients. And the way that I teach my students to read.
Over the course of my tarot reading career I’ve heard terrible stories from my clients who went to a reader that wasn’t doing a great job. They were told to get divorced, move out of their house because it was cursed and that in order to remove negative spirits they needed to pay thousands of dollars. I’m always happy to do a reading for someone after an experience like this so I can explain that what they went through is not normal or appropriate.
My goal for this class is to show you how to use the cards the right way, and get you up and moving as soon as possible. Being able to read tarot cards is fun, but it does require you to put in some time and effort. The more often your practice, the better you’ll get!
