The Ten of Swords carries a deeply emotional energy. The internal state of affairs here is not good. You may even feel stabbed in the back by a situation you are in the middle of or by someone around you. The Ten of Swords also indicates someone who has gotten off track somewhere. They are not keeping the agenda that they are responsible for, or staying on task (personally or professionally). When this card appears reversed in a reading, the person is back on track and on top of their obligations. They now have what it takes to continue on their path.  It can also be that you are so far down that you are asking the powers that be to assist you.
