Showing that he has the power of choice over all the aspects that these represent. Free Will is another important energy associated with the Magician card. In life we all have the free will to choose our own destiny and decide what it is that we want for ourselves. If this card in a spread is upright, then it is likely the querent embodies these traits. Should it show reversed, then perhaps the issue deals with not owning ones own power or commanding what they want from the situation.
