The Moon Card is one of illusions, deceptions and being unable to see clearly. The sun here is not bright enough to illuminate the landscape for those who travel on this road. The water here is showing us our subconscious while the crayfish emerging from it directs our attention to comfortable or uncomfortable things that may surface when doing inner work on our path to enlightenment and understanding. The fact that there is anything even emerging from this water source shows us that we are on our way to working through what comes up. Looking to the beginning of the path we can see a dog and a wolf together. They are the tame and wild aspects of ourselves and our thought process. And down a ways on the path are two large white towers. They guide us to the unconscious where are intuitive abilities lie. When this card appears reversed in a reading, sometimes its best not to take a risk on anything new. What you are trying to accomplish will come with a price.
